Divine
Mercy Brothers of our Lady of Guadalupe
This is
a Religious community of older fairly healthy men coming together to fulfill
their calling to serve God.
It is a
semi- cloister (hermit) of men coming together in common
to strive for holiness and sainthood.
Will
have a chapel but will need to tend mass in the local parish and for veneration
of the Blessed Sacrament.
Then to
return to pray for the sick, dying, souls, purgatory and the whole world by praying
the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Rosary, Franciscan Crown, Liturgy of the hour.
Hope to
be able to pray for the sick and dying at hospitals then return back to the
community.
Also
ask the parish priest if we may have devotions to the Divine Mercy Chaplet and
the rosary for them and then again return back.
All
brothers will be taking vows with and to the Bishop and will serve under him.
From within
the community there will be one brother that will oversee everything and all
brothers will be obedient to him and him to the bishop.
As a
community we will be reminded that we are sinners and must ask for repentance
before the Divine Mercy and ask for His Mercy daily.
ALL
FOR THE GLORY OF OUR GOD

orders are not formed; or the purpose of gathering perfect people together, but
those who have the courage to aim at perfection and holiness.
Novitiate:
Novitiate
will be 40 years or older and in fair heath
5
references will be needed
And a
background check
Because
we are of an older group of men seeking to fulfill our call
We must
work harder to shed off the desire to satisfy one’s self
And
learn to give one’s self totally to God and the community
If
working, the novitiate will have to give ones check completely to the order
On
being retired, their retirement check will also be given to the community
Because of
the lack of finances, a novitiate may have to pay for one’s own habit
If
leaving the order it will have to be left with the community
Tunic, scapular and belt will be worn during this time
The capuche
will be given at time of vows
Temporary
vows will be given to a novitiate at the end of a year or more if needed
The
length of time will be determined by the community
The
time spent in novitiate will be where one will have to develop a deeper
spirituality and to conform to the community’s way of living

Psalm 32;
Blessed is the one whose offense is forgiven whose sin is erased.
Blessed is the one to whom the Lord charge no guilt and in whose spirit there is no guile.
Then I acknowledged my sin to you, and I made no attempt to conceal my guilt.
I said, “I will confess my offenses to the Lord”, and you removed the guilt of my sin.
I will instruct you and guide you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and keep my eyes upon you.
Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; shout for joy, all you upright of heart.
